Q & A
Q. Why don't you write a market analysis and follow up daily news?
A. Less talking and more trading is better. The market can change rapidly, so a morning analysis can become worthless. We collect, monitor and analyse all important information, but keep in mind that the market predicts the future and you win or lose according to your trades not by the news you follow. You should never bet on fundamentals. All you need to know is in the price/time chart.
Q. I register as a free user but I have not received in my email box the confirmation mail to activate my account. How can I login?
A. In order to register as a new user, free, you have to provide a valid email address and select your own password. Then a confirmation email is send to the email address you gave us as your username. We have taken all precautions to avoid this email going to your spam folder. In this case, which is very rare, you have to look into your spam/junk folder of your email and mark the sender as safe.
Q. How can I login if I forgot my password?
A. We do not keep a record of your password. You can easily press the "Forgot password" and a new temporary password generated by the system will be send to your email address. Please change it to one you can easily remember.
Q. A great number of entered orders are modified or cancelled, why?
A. The market is not static, so waves alter. The shorter the trading time frame, the faster they change. We must adopt those changes by altering EP, VOL, PTP, SLP of entered orders/trades or sometimes to cancel some or all of them.
Q. Why don’t you have intraday trading subscription service?
A. We provide enough signals with the current trading time frames. Sometimes, depending on the market conditions, intraday signals do occur in the short term. Do not forget that what it matters is to profit, in the long run. Trading more products and more often does not automatically lead to better results. You will for sure consume more time and more energy to fill the task. Although, if a significant number of traders demand that service we will consider to include it.
Q. Can I copy your signals automatically?
A. No, we do not want to provide this kind of service. We do not believe that you can trust blindly nobody! You have to be like us. We do not want auto followers or auto copiers. You should always be free to choose your broker, your trading style and when to trade.
Q. Can you offer more market products to trade?
A. At the moment, it is not our intention to offer trading signals in more products.
Q. What do units in volume mean?
A. When you set up an order, you buy or sell a certain amount of a currency. The standard lot is 100,000 units. There are certain brokers who give you the opportunity and flexibility to trade any amount of units.
Q. What will happen if I exceed XPRTrading recommended limits for margin use and loss?
A. If you open trades with too many units, even a small movement against you may ruin your portfolio. To get an idea, please check in our statistics, under all trades category, our average volume/trade under each product and trading term.
Q. Can I use more margin so as to boost my portfolio performance?
A. Yes, you can. Please realize that what it really matters is to stay in profit in the long run. It is also crucial to have power (capital) for the next move(s) if you fail in one or more trade(s). Do not treat trading as a gamble to get quickly rich. You will lose, sooner or later.
Q. Why do you use different volume in trade signals?
A. Not all trades have the same significance. This is essential to minimise loss and increase profit in our portfolio. The aim is to securely accumulate profit in the long run.
Q. What is the minimum capital to trade with the XPRTrading signals?
A. There is none! Our opinion is that any amount must be treated by the trader the same. Due to costs involved it may be better to trade long term. You can always check our statistics to get an idea of the average return on capital and do your calculations according to your capital.
Q. Why don’t you have live quotes?
A. We are not a broker/trading platform. Our orders and trades are well ahead prepared and entered. So if you include our signals as GTC (Good Till Cancelled) to your trading platform they will execute with no problems. In case of increased volatility, especially when a product is at a crucial price, orders/trades may entered, cancelled, changed and closed rapidly. Orders and trades filled or closed by PTP/SLP properly at your brokerage firm, not in our website.
Q. Why do you separate trading signals in (time) terms?
A. When you travel and follow directions you always know your final destination. The same implies in trading. You can’t trade effectively in the short term when you ignore the medium and long term.
Q. What trading term is most suitable for me?
A Trading is time consuming. It requires time even to enter/change/cancel our signals, so choose wisely depending on your personal needs. Keep in mind that long and medium term signals are of greater importance and less time consuming to trade.
Q. How many trading signals do you usually generate?
A. This is something that really depends on the market conditions and in the product. To get an idea, you can check our statistics for the product, term and time duration you are interested.
Q. Why do you use abbreviations, trend symbols and trade icons?
A. Trading involves a lot of numbers, charts and classic arrows! Our aim is to make things a little easier, more user friendly, and more innovative.
Q. What are the PC and Stop orders and why do you use them?
A. Please refer to our trading guide in the section "How to".
Q. Why shorter term subscriptions are more expensive?
A. Signals are more often, require more preparation and they are generally more time consuming than longer duration signals.
Q. I am a free user, why can’t I have access to Trading or Trend History?
A. As a free user you have access to basic trading information. If you could see Trading history then you could also see the orders and trades that are active with their updated PTP/SLP, PCs etc. You do have access to Detailed Statistics, Monthly Summaries and other information as described in Services Offered.
Q. How RRR filter works for signals?
A. Please refer to our trading guide in the section "How to".
